During his 40 years teaching and researching Maths and Mechanics in Belgium, Professor Nguyen Dang Hung had to overcome numerous obstacles to become one of the most brilliant technicians in the world. He was named Excellent Professor and won the Medal of the Belgian Royal Academy of Sciences. Despite his success in Belgium, he embraced the “Vietnamese Dream” and always wanted to return to his hometown to contribute to Vietnamese education. His dream came true when he came back to Vietnam in 1995 and established the International Standards Center for Master and Doctorate Training.
